Mrs. Annie Walsh of Cresco died yesterday morning, aged 85 years. Her surviving children are Patrick and Mrs. John Daly south of town, the Misses Lizzie and Bezzie, of Cresco, Arthur who resides in Canada and Philip of Yankton, S.D. She was the aunt of Edw. Roche, George Walsh and Mrs. Wm. McGee of Harmony.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at ten o'clock at Cresco, Rev. Fr. Daugherty officiating. Interment will be at Plymouth Rock cemetery where her husband is buried.
Mrs. Walsh was born in Madison, Wis. She married Andrew Walsh and they located on the State Line farm where she lived for many years. All who knew her say she was a woman of fine character.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Walsh who passed away at her home Wednesday morning, Nov. 4, were held from the Cresco Church of the Assumption Friday morning at ten o'clock with Solemn Requiem High Mass. The Re. Fr. E. J. Dougherty ws celebrant, assisted by the Rev. Fr. F.L. O'Connell, Rev. Fr. W. Collins of Canton and Re. Fr. M. Doyle of Preston. The casket was carried by six of her grandsons.
Mrs. Walsh is survived by three sons and three daughters.
Those from away who attended the funeral were Philip Walsh and son of Lemmon, S.Dak., Mrs. Ed Walsh and son of Jamestown, N. Dak., John Walsh of Pocahontas, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Cook ad Miss Edna Daly of Chicago, Mrs. John Hofner and son and Miss Loretta Kennedy of Minneapolis.
