Lake House Entry

Lake House

The House was built over 170 years ago. It became widely known as an overnight stop in the Stagecoach days. The garage is to this day known as the "Coach House". The O'Sullivan family has owned and managed the house for over 75 years now.

Bedroom Our 10 bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. Starting in 2007, 4 rooms have been renovated; take a look at them in the separate 'New rooms' section. One of the older rooms has 2 queen-size beds and comes with a spacious bathroom/shower/toilet. The others have 1 queen/double bed or 2 single beds; the shower and toilets are nearby in the corridor. There is secure parking and a lock-up available for bicycles. Well-behaved pets may be accomodated upon request.

Dining Room
We pride ourselves in serving fresh local produce in our dining room. Vegetables and herbs from the hotel garden, meats and fish from the locality. Traditional Irish breakfast, with home baking, is served in the south-facing dining-room. A larger room is available for meetings and parties. Snacks are available in the bar until late in the evening.
